Remains of Long-Lost Temple Discovered in Iraq

An archaeologist working in Iraqi Kurdistan has discovered giant column bases that belong to the Temple of Haldi, the supreme god of the kingdom of Urartu. The temple was located in Musasir, a place which ancient inscriptions call a "holy city" and "the city of the raven."
