Archaeologists in the country of Georgia have discovered a burial chamber that was intended for a chief. It contain two chariots, with four wheels each, gold artifacts and possible human sacrifices.

Remains of Ancient Epidemic Discovered in Egypt
Archaeologists working at the site of Thebes, in Egypt, have uncovered remains of the third century AD "Plague of Cyprian." Named after St. Cyprian, was described its symptoms, the epidemic was so terrible that he believed the world was coming to an end.

Mayan Council House with Sculpted Art Discovered in Guatemala
A Mayan council house dating back about 700 years has been discovered in Guatemala. Among the artifacts is an incense burner showing the head of Itzamna, who was the "shaman" of the Maya gods.
